STORMS IN INDIA
In India there was a huge dust storm with fierce winds, lightning strikes created by a strong dust storm that has killed more than 110 people and injured hundred more people. Most of these deaths were caused by walls and roofs falling over on people in the middle of the night. Also a lot of wind spread electricity cuts and water shortages. And in the state rajasthan 35 more people died and over 200 were injured after winds downed 8,000 electric pole,uprooted hundreds of trees,destroyed house and killed livestock. Dust storms are are common in this part of India in the summer but loss life on this scale is unusual.
I think that this is crazy because the storms are so strong that they can break down really big walls and kill a lot of people. I liked how you told the numbers accurately and how you described the situation. I personally have been to India but not during monsoon season when there is a lot of storms and flooding. I think that in the places they have a lot of flooding I think they should increase the security and safety of the environment there.
