Ebola

The outbreak of Ebola has erupted and has spread among over thousand of citizens. This is the worst Ebola outbreak ever. A U.S surgeon died of Ebola on November 17 at the Nebraska Medical Center after showing symptoms of Ebola. Early symptoms of Ebola are fever, body aches, cough, stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea. Earlier cases of Ebola in the United States included a patient in Dallas, Texas who was diagnosed with the virus and later died on October 8th. Another case of Ebola was on October 11th a nurse who cared for the first patient showed symptoms of Ebola, but was released and tested negative for the virus. In my opinion, Ebola should've been taken more seriously when the first patient was diagnosed.

  1. Ebola is scary and I agree with you that they should have taken it more seriously, but how they're taking it now and in the future is what matters not in the past. Ebola is as contagious as Hepatitis C, but HIV and SARS are 2 times as contagious as it (Ro scale). The Measles are 9 times more contagious on the Ro scale. We all have to think not about getting it more of the families who its affecting thats my opinion.

  2. Good job on your blog Austin I like how you explained how Ebola spread and what its symptoms are. I also agree on how they should've took Ebola more seriously, but my opinion is that they should've kept the first person that had Ebola and studied them more and tried to figure a cure. My questions for you are. What places did Ebola spread through, Why did they just let the first person with Ebola go? When did Ebola start and what did the the first patient get Ebola from and what state did Ebola spread first and finally how many people many people got affected by Ebola.
