Blog Episode VI: The REAL Story of Camp, 2015

So do you know what amnesty means? Here, let me help.
From dictionary.com
Amnesty: noun
an official pardon for people who have been convicted of political offenses.

Essentially, amnesty is when your “crimes” are officially forgiven or excused. It is kind of like a get out of jail free card. And that, my little bloggers, is what you will be given for your post this time. You see, there are rules that we all follow while at camp. No candy, Lights out at 10:30, and No Snowball Fights! are but a few examples. My guess is that you and your cabin-mates MIGHT have bent one or two of those rules, and unless a teacher has already dialogued (chatted) with you about things, you got away with your “crime/s”! So this blog post is about the Real Story of Camp. Drop a post about some of the cool stuff that you and your crew did while at camp. Write about what made camp a blast, whether you broke a camp rule or not. Remember, you won’t be *punished" as you are granted amnesty for your misdeeds. Be sure to include details to make your post more enthralling (interesting) to your readers. A clever title is of course your key to drawing in curious minds!

Wait...you didn’t go to camp? That’s ok. You can scribble (write) about a similar time that you have had in your life. Maybe it was at a sleepover or a birthday party. Or perhaps it was during a time when you were just hanging out with family or friends. Possibly it was some arbitrary (random) day in school. Regardless, choose a time when you might have gotten away with something that you weren’t exactly supposed to be doing.

*This amnesty does not apply to such things as vandalism or other real crimes that are of a more serious nature.

Grading rules are as follows:
Cleverly titled, Spelling-Error-Free POSTS must contain 75+ words (5 points), include a hyperlink and/or video (1 point) and end with a question (1 point). For your final three points, you must underline at least three rich vocabulary words (being sure to show the more plain word that you replaced it with in parenthesis right next to it) like I have in my post above this.
Spelling-Error-Free COMMENTS must be the first or second comment made to a post and 50+ words of course (7 points), and should clearly show that you read their full post and in response, compare or contrast the experience with one of your own (3 points).
