Four African counties, Egypt, Zimbabwae, Kenya, Ivory Coast made it into the 2016 Rio Olympics. In fact this was the first time Zimbabwae and Kenya have qualified for 28 and 16 years. This shows that archery has been improving in the African continent. Efforts have been made in the past 10 years to make the sport more avalable and easier to afford. Thanks to the National Olympic Committe, training camps have been made possible in countries like Nambia. I really like the way you worded this, my favorite part was when you talked about Zimbabwe and Kenya qualifying into the rio Olympics.Did you know that the 2016 archery championships were actually the 11th edition of the African archery championships. Archery is really interesting and i'm happy that other places in the world can take part of the sport.
ReplyDeleteI am really happy for the two African countries that got qualified for the 2016 Rio Olympics. I think it is great that the African countries got better at archery. I think archery is a great sport and that I wish to see Zimbabwe and Kenya in the 2018 Olympics.
