Snakes..

When we took the field trip in class, I learned about the speckled Cobra and it's a very poisonous snake and I mean very! The Speckled Cobra is also known as the Indian cobra. is a species of the genus Naja found in the Indian subcontinent and a member of the "big four". The big four mean the four species which inflicts on how many snake bites on humans in India. Another cool thing that happened “at” the field trip was when the workers who caught snakes used snake venom including the speckled coba to make a antadone for the poison inside of a humans body once they are bitten from a snake or a speckled cobra. I dont think I would like to visit India because they have lots of snakes there. Would you like to visit India?

Snakes: What Makes Them Unique?

           Snakes can sometimes be interesting. Snakes can be interesting in many ways, such as size or venom. The largest species of snakes are pythons and anacondas. Some of the most venomous snakes are rattle snakes, death adders, vipers and black mambas.

The larger snakes can even swallow a human whole, or something bigger! A small majority of snakes can bite something and have it dead pretty quickly. However, not in all cases is snake venom bad. All around the world snakes venom gets drained for vaccine that has saved many lives. So in my opinion, snakes are very interesting. Dear Mr.Hopper please don't count this as late, it would have been on time, but I had lot of technical difficulties with turning this in.

The Elephants!!

In my opinion, the best thing about our ‘field trip’ was the elephants. Did you know that the elephant’s scientific name is the elephantidae!! The average elephant lives about 44.4 human years. That’s about ⅓ less than the average human  lives.  The average elephant weighs 5,500 kgs or 12125.4 lbs!! The usual elephant is about 9 feet tall.  Elephants eat roots,grasses,fruit, bark. An adult elephant can consume up to 300 lbs. of food in a single day. This is why I think elephants were the best thing in our field trip.

The train ride

When we watched the so called field trip I learned that in Asia  most people take trains just because its cheaper. People in the first class seating would have nice seats, they could also sleep. When they got rid of fourth class people would sit on top of the train until they arrived at the place they wanted/needed to be that's pretty scary I would say.

Asia field trip

  The train rides on our field trip I wanted to learn more of. People In first class seating would have pretty nice seats and were they sleep. second and third class get worse and worse. They got rid of fourth class, but the passengers sat on top of the train the hole way to there destination. In Asia  to get to a faraway city they usually ride trains because its cheaper and quicker than some things. Would you ride a train in Asia if you had to go somewhere quickly.

White Rats

From this field trip I learned a couple of things.  Like white rats are rare to find there and if there white that means there special. They believe that when people die they come back to be rats because they have a ton of rats and that's why they think it.  It is an extremely. All of these rats are mainly in the temple though. They think in india if a rat runs across your foot its good luck, and I found that interesting.
