This crowdedness tho

I know I don’t like crowded places do you? Tokyo seems like a cool place to go, but I wouldn’t want to be there because of how crowded it always is there. Trying to do anything would just be very hard. For example, trying to get on a train. Hundreds maybe thousands of people trying to get on that train too. Taking a car would even be hard because you would just be in a lot of traffic forever! Then when it’s warm out you have to worry about all the body heat which would make it extremely hot. Tokyo is probably one of the most crowded places around. Would you want to go through all of that?

Swiming? Anyone?

Have you ever been to Disney World, during Spring Break? I have and its pretty crowded, I get so hot and uncomfortable because everybody is touching each other on a hot day. So you can tell I don’t really like crowded places. In Tokyo there’s a wave pool, Disney World is not nearly as crowded as Tokyo's wave pool. Now at this wave pool you can't even see the water only people. All of the people are in their floats or just standing there. They’re all touching and in their swimsuits so they half naked well the boys maybe girls if there wearing a bikini. From what it looked in the video  they didn't care, they were having fun.  I know for a fact I would not have fun I would probably walk in and then walk right back out and and ask for my money back. What about you? Would you stay at the Tokyo Wave Pool?

Crowded pool in Tokyo

Don’t you hate being in crowded places? because same. Imagine that it’s been chilly were your living and one day it get’s to be really warm out, and the public pool is open. There are hundreds of people all in that swimming pool very crowded and not really being able to swim you're just sitting there like everyone else, sitting in every one else's almost bare body. Maybe since it’s hot outside the water is warm so then it makes everyone else warm and people start sweating. Eww, yikes, why? That is basically what the people in Tokyo Summer-land had to go through. Would you do this? I wouldn't.

9 Hours Hotel

The "Nine Hours Hotel" is a hotel located in Kyoto, Japan. It is named the nine hours hotel, simply because you get a maximum of nine hours to stay there. You get one hour to eat, seven hours to sleep, and one hour to rest. The main use of this hotel are business trips, traveling, and overtime working. It is not a very luxurious stay, it is just resetting your, day from one day to the next. It supplies your three basic needs: taking a shower, sleep, and getting dressed. Would you ever want to stay in this hotel?

BEEP BEEP BEEEEEEEEEEEEP!!!

In the world today there are many places to live in, but for some reason there are a few cities with huge population density. Let’s focus on Tokyo, Japan. They have a whopping 32.5 million people! If you’re stuck in traffic you will hear the blaring noise of all the honking cars. You could be stuck in traffic for hours, maybe even days! Or being in elevators smelling peoples eye watering body odor. BLEH! Worse, imagine the feeling of falling on people; that must hurt. 32.5 million is a lot of people that have to be scrunched up in a corner. You would feel like you can’t breathe. If you are claustrophobic this place is not for you. there is no space there in little areas. Would you want to live in a 32.5 million city?

Capsule hotels
I dont think i would like to be in a capsule, the main reason why is that when is when I sleep I need a lot of room to spread out and stretch my legs. You're basically in a tube but square. Also when I wake up I like to stand up and move around or go to the bathroom. The capsule does not  seem to have very much privacy when you rest. You're  right next to another person and with that thin of walls i don't think there soundproof. When you sleeping you can hear other people snoring or making sounds, and that would make it hard for me to sleep, But the really question is………... would sleep on a capsule hotel?

Life In Seoul

I wake up 6:00 and open the door in my apartment. I went the train station and put my money in the machine to go to the train. I went inside the train and got crush by the people. I got out and walking out of the station. I can hear the car engine loud and see gum on the floor. I walk to my school and after the school ended I walk to the train station. I got out and went to my apartment to the elevator there were to many people inside and there were a line form. I waited 15 min and I reach to my door and got home.

two trains haha

I moved to tokyo a few month ago and it's really hard to do anything. Just getting on the train is extremely hard. Once I was right next to the door and they pushed me on the train exorbitantly hard, I felt pain in my back for days! It was the worst when the doors closed then we were smooshed against each other like in a can of sardines. In fact I would rather be in a can of sardines, it would probably smell better! It smelt like sweat and as a matter of fact fishy. I get why they need to put people on the trains but why not add another car on?

Tokyo , Japan

Tokyo, Japan has the largest population of any other city on earth. Rush hour on the trains in Tokyo is a nightmare , unless you like being part of a human hamburger you might not want to take the train. If you're looking to drive thats also crowded, not to mention you have to pay to use the highway. There's really no way to fix this problem because there's just too many people!! The population of tokyo is a whopping over 10 million, you can't took somewhere without seeing a person! If I were to move somewhere, Tokyo Japan would be the last place I would move, what about you?

to close

Imagine waking up in the morning with your mom, dad, brothers, sisters, and grandparents in a tiny one bedroom apartment. Well That is just something people in Japan have to do. There are so many people that live in japan its crazy. The population is 128 million people. I could not imagine sharing a little room with  my whole family. It would be so cramped. Your family would Probably have to take turns using the bathroom and when you sleep you would be tightly packed in. You would have a lot of family time. My question is would you like to be in a tiny room with your whole family for your child hood.

Need Space??

Have you ever been to cities like Shanghai, Seoul, or Beijing? Well if you have, then you know what it is like to be crowded. In the Capsule Hotel in Japan, you are in capsules next to random people. What I find truly amazing is the traffic jams in Beijing. You can get stuck in there for weeks! In major cities like this, it is hard to just get a space all to yourself. In the capsule hotel, knowing that someone is lying a few feet away from you is very uncomfortable. How would you get some space in cities like this?

~East Asia Seoul~

East Asia Seoul,

officially the Seoul Special City  – is the capital and largest metropolis of South Korea,  the world's second largest metropolitan area with over 25.6 million people. In 2013, the city's GDP per capita (PPP) of $39,448 was comparable to that of France and Finland. Seoul is the world's most wired city and ranked first in technology readiness by PwC's Cities of Opportunity Report. Its public transportation infrastructure is the world's densest and ranked as the best in the Northern Hemisphere in the Sustainable Cities Index. It is served by the KTX high-speed rail and the Seoul Subway, the world's largest subway network, And the stations of food that Seoul has can combined all the smells. When its the afternoon its really busy because there hurrying people, people that are in a rush to get to the place they need to be.
When i found this the first scenes got me interesting and now i know more then i knew and im glad that i read this.
 Transportation~
Subway & Train - Seoul has a comprehensive subway network that interconnects every district of the city and the surrounding areas. With more than 8 million passengers per day.  Seoul is also linked to most major Korean cities by the KTX high-speed train, which has a normal operation speed of more than 300 km/h (186 mph).

Tokyo

I just move to Tokyo a month or two ago and it has its flaws and flawless moments. Some flaws are that at night you are in a small space and there is very loud noises at night.  Another flaw is that for those of you that like to see the stars at night you might not want to move here because you can barely see them with the pollution. Also there is such a big population it is hard to find a job and when you do you get a minimum wager. There are some good things about Tokyo is that you can smell the exquisite foods here. Also there are a lot of things around here that you can explored around. It is a great thing for a vacation but if your plan to live around here I personally would not like to.

Cram Into That Train

You hear an annoying beep beep your look at your alarm and oh no your slept in. Fear rushes through your body. You get up rush to get ready and get out the door. You rush to the train station your are out of breath panting but you made it. When to you get to your train your are one of the last people your try and push push push your legs are aching from trying to shove in the train then your feel 2 people push your arm to get the train packed. Finely you're in but then your nose starts to sting from a horrid smell as the person next to you farts. This is how packed the trains can be during rush hour. The high populations make for a different life style so driving a car can be harder than riding the train. So would your live like this or stay more towards dealing with a long car ride.

Thomas the choo choo train in Japan

Have you ever taken a train in Michigan?  When you're on it you are probably thinking it’s crowded. That is not nearly as crowded as if you were going on a train in Japan. You would hate it so much. Imagine if you had to get pushed onto a train. Imagine how much that would hurt. Just to put this into consideration you can’t move. So if someone was touching you and you didn't like it you couldn't do anything about it. If someone had just smoked or farted you wouldn't be able to move so you would just be standing their smelling it for the whole ride. So now that I have just told you all of this tell me would you actually go on a train or just walk?
I would hate to visit Tokyo. Don’t take  it the wrong way I don’t hate Japan but it’s not my style of living their. Did you know that Tokyo has 13.35 million people living there! Let me repeat that there is 13.35 million that is just too many humans for a city. Just about going to the pool or the escalator it just weird. Just imagine always being validated from your personal bubble. Every single day just because you wanted to the subway. Other than those issues I  would love to go to Tokyo I would definitely love to visit Tokyo Disneyland. It sounds like a lot of fun and see if it’s like the other one. Also Tokyo has interesting music called J-pop and I would love to go to a concert. Anyways would you visit Tokyo would like to go to Tokyo Disneyland.

Hotels!!

In Japan, they have some of the most awe-inspiring hotels ever. Did you know that most of the rooms are only about 10 feet long and 7 feet wide. All the rooms have is a bed. In the preponderance of the hotels there are more than 1,000 rooms. They are not like regular hotels we see here in America. They are on top of one another and have ladders leading up to the top rooms. As you will see a lot of people sit on their bed and work on their computers. It usually costs around $200 for one night! As I said before the hotels are cool and different.

Traffic in the East Asia

Have to go to work ? Can't find transportation? Well this is the problem about the population in Japan. People who go to work that take car or busses takes a lot of time. That is why people take the fast bullet trains. But the only problem is there are plenty of people who use the train go to work in the mornings. People who ride trains sometimes find seats, but others stand. Sometimes if there are too many humans that ride the train they all get squeezed. This is how Japan population is. If I was riding that train, I wouldn't feel comfortable because I have no personal space. Would you like to go on this train everyday? Think about it?

TOKYO

In Tokyo the population is 13.35 million people. That is 13.35 million people in only 845 mi of space. The population  is so stupendous, and some people are unsanitary.  If you go off the main road it probably smells repulsive. I would feel so crowded, I would hate it there I just know . All of those people just think. All you would probably get minimum wage less than 8 dollars. So it is over populated, minimum wage, and probable smells bad too. I know I wouldn't like to live here, how about you would, you like to live here?

Trouble in East Asia

Beep beep, The people in there cars honking at the long line of cars. The roar of the people yelling in the street. The 8 week back up outside of Beijing, Japan. People came out and started selling food and putting up bathrooms. Ding ding, the doors open and then it is time to fight. It’s not a boxing fight, it is the rush to get in the train first. The burst of the men grunting because his job is to push the rest of the people on the train. I would not want to be one of the last people pushed in and squeezed as the doors close. Would you want to ride this train every day for work?

My Travels

My Travels
I have been very lucky to be able to travel a lot.  I have been to New York City (one of my favorite trips) and Chicago.  I thought both of those were crowded, with New York City having 26,403 people per mile, and Chicago having 12,750.3 people per mile.   I was shocked when I found out that Manila in the Philippines has 15,400 people per mile, and it has less land area than both of these places at 550 square miles.  I had trouble walking around in New York City, so it must be almost impossible to move around Manila (you would ether smash into someone, or you get bumped yourself).  With all the crowds there, you must not be able to see any of the beautiful buildings or the smells of the food.  Even though I have traveled a lot I have not seen it all. So i end with this, what populated density cites would you like to visit?

TRAFFIC!

Imagine you got off to a late start going to school. The traffic is nuts. You smell the gasoline and the pollution from the other cars. You hear the horns of the cars beeping. You see the hundreds of cars in front of you. You know that it could take, hours, days, weeks. It’s too late to go to school now. You are trapped in the traffic with no food, water, or showers. You are forced to leave your car. This has become normal for you. Imagine living this life every day. Smelling the sewer Water on the streets. Would you want to live this life?

No space

The train stations in southeast asia are so packed that there are people who are paid to push people into the train. Imagine how bad that would be, well theres worse. In southeast asia there are pools that have so many people in them that you can barely move and thats not the end of it. There are hotel rooms half the size of a table! Would you still go on a train that has barely any space? How about a swimming pool that you can’t swim in? Or even a hotel room the size of your dog’s dog house?

CHINA TRAINS

Imagine being in a room that is about two meters long and very short in length. Oh, and by the way, there are other people there, to. A lot of people. That's what it's like being on a train in China. With big, sweaty people all around you. And you can hear the breathing in and out, and feel them breathing on your neck at the same time. EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW. I would feel like an ant inside of a small ant hole while the other ants' relatives are over visiting from Georgia or something. It's even so cramped that there are people that push you inside of the train. If you click on the link you can see people being pushed in. And if you look closely, you can see people mushed up against the window. Explain to me what you would feel like.

It's crowded in here!

Imagine waking up 30 minutes late for school and your mom yells, "Get up, you're late!" Then in a panic you jump into the shower, put on fresh clothes, and rush to the train station, but when you arrive you realize that you could have probably skipped your shower that morning because the train is already full. I know you're saying to yourself, "why would the train being full cause a person to wonder why they even bothered taking a shower?" Well being late for a train in Japan during rush hour means being pushed into an already crowded train by two or three people until you fit into that living suitcase. The train is packed so tight that a person can feel the sweat rolling down their backs and strangers breathing on your necks, as the train roars down the track. The population density in Japan is insane, but this is their way of living in this country, even if it is extreme to us.
Do you believe that Americans would be mentally capable of adjusting to such an extreme way of living?

Blog Episode XI: It Is Your Density!

Chances are you have never been to a place with anywhere near the population density depicted in my collection of videos. If you have, then see me about what your topic for this blog could be. If not, your topic is to discuss one or two aspects of daily life that you saw and found interesting among that collection. Even better...research something new (about population density in an East Asian city such as Tokyo, Beijing, Seoul, Shanghai...there are several to choose from) and share what that new experience might be like.

Try to get your reader to FEEL THE EXPERIENCE by using descriptive, rich vocabulary words. Imagine yourself being in a setting like that and do your best to describe what that must be like. Dazzle your reader with the feelings, sights, sounds and smells of your chosen scenario.

Grading: Because we are stronger writers now, Spelling-Error-Free POSTS must be 100+ words (4 points), contain a hyperlink or a video or have a picture/video brought in to your post (1 point) and end with a question (1 point).  For the last four points, you will need to use those rich vocabulary words to bring your reader as real of an experience as possible. Touch upon four aspects among the feelings (physical or emotional), sights, sounds and smells that you would imagine you would experience. As an example, maybe you would hit upon two smells and two sounds...or three feelings and a sound...four total for your last 4 points.

COMMENTS: You must be the first or second comment made to a post and it must now be 75+ words, spelling-error free of course (5 points), and once again it should clearly show that you have looked up information from the post and added it as part of your response (2 points). And once again, this time you must suggest to this author that they read another author's post. Connect your suggestion with a solid reason. For example you might say, "Hey Julio, I really liked reading your post about Sri Lanka and the amazing food they have there. It dawned on me that you might really like to read Darby's post. I know, I know...she wrote about Bengal, not Sri Lanka. But you will notice that each culture seems to share a love of spicy food, don't you agree?" See how I connected the two different posts by a common thread? That is your mission, and success there will earn you your final 3 points.

Southeast Asia's Great Sports!!

Southeast Asia has many sophisticated and interesting sports. To me, the most interesting sport in Southeast Asia is baseball. Although, it is not an olympic sport, it is still a very popular sport there. It has been added as a sport program of the biennial sporting event. They have had tournaments every other year since 2005. Philippines has earned the gold medal two out of the three years they have had the tournament. For every sport in the Southeast Asian games, Thailand has won the most gold medals out of every country. Once again, Southeast Asia has great, fun sports.

Luang Prabang Laos

Luang Prabang Laos lies deep in the jungle. The city nearby has beautiful architecture. It has many quiet temples where you could relax. This tourist site is most famous for it's daily processions, which is when local Munks gather to the site to gather food. They come wearing saffron robes to do their daily routine. It also has pretty waterfalls and bathing pools.  A lot of celebrities have gone to the area to vacation there.  There are also a lot of 5 star restaurants in the area which hold the best chefs. You won't regret coming down to visit this beautiful landmark.

waterfalllllll

If I went to Laos I would go to Kuang si falls. It is located 18 miles south of Luang Prabang. I would like to go to the falls because you can go swimming in them and there are a bunch of little pools going down so its like a bunch of little fresh water pools. The pools are also pretty clean because there turquoise At least one waterfall is closed because it is a sacred site. The rest of the waterfall you can go swimming with a small fee. The lead fall cascades from 200 ft ( thats like 40 Ashlynns!)Where would you go?

the Bae of Krabi Province

   Krabi Province
I think this would be a good place to climb mountains.  Their mountains are in a beautiful location with good weather.  When you finish climbing, you can go swimming in the beautiful blue water. Finally, if you just want to relax and enjoy the sunshine, there are beaches with the best sand and water for your enjoyment.

This is Tiger Cave in Krabi Province.  If I were to go there, I think I would like to take my whole family and friends here.  I think I would be able to make the hundreds of steps up to it.
Then, it would be fun to compare the beaches here with the ones at Lake Michigan or the Cayman Islands.  Which would you rather do:  Spend the day on the beach or visit Tiger Cave?

Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park myn's better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park, Indonesia
I currently did some research on Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park.  Bromo is know for there volcanos. Including Mount Bromo (2,329 m), Mount Batok (2,470 m), Mount Kursi (2,581 m), Mount Watangan (2,661 m), and Mount Widodaren (2,650 m).  Mount Batok is the only peak that is no longer active, and is covered in casuarina trees.  From the pictures I have seen it must be very hot and beautiful.   It is the only conservation area in Indonesia that has a sand sea, the Tengger Sand Sea. Across which is the caldera of an ancient volcano, from which four new volcanic cones have emerged. Would you like to visit here?

Southeast Asian Games

The Southeast Asian Peninsular Games, or the Southeast Asian Games as it is know, is a multi-sport event hosted every 2 years. It was first held in Bangkok, Thailand in 1959 with twelve sports, namely aquatics, athletics, badminton, basketball, boxing, cycling, football, shooting, table tennis, tennis, volleyball, and weightliftingAll of these events are Olympic sports, and most are the main sports of the event. The 2015 Southeast Asian Games will be hosted in Singapore from June 5th to June 16th in the main venue of Singapore National Stadium. There will be 11 southeast asian countries, and over 700 athletes participating. Did you know that in the history of this event that Thailand has exactly 5,307 total medals?

Southeast Asia.......

There are many cool sports in Southeast Asia, Did you know that the Southeast Asian games are also referred to SEA? Ha neither did I. The two most popular sports in Southeast Asia are Kabaddi and Takraw. Kabaddi is more like a wrestling sport takraw is similar to volleyball, But in Takraw you can only use your knees, chest, feet and head. Did you know that unlike the Olympic games, there are no official limits to the number of sports which may be contested? I think that pretty cool. Do you? I think the sport that I would like to try is Takraw because I love volleyball and I think it would be fun to try something new. What about you, would you like to try to play Kabaddi or Takraw?

Bay

Hey guys so I got my new favorite place and  it is  Halong Bay, Vietnam. It is the most beautiful place in the world because it has the best sunrises and sunsets for a  cruise(often misspelled words). I also like it because they believe that a dragon formed all those islands and you have to visit to see if its true (Halong bay is also known as descending dragon). I like this place because it has rock climbing outside and water resorts and has a lot of places for kids. The climate is very warm and I would just play there all day. There are also multiple(often misspelled word) islands in the bay and there is a very beautiful cave for couples that looks gorgeous(often misspelled word). Halong Bay is a very beautiful place and that is why I would love to visit. I love this place. Why would you want to visit the bay? Tell me why would you go.

Chinese junks and cruise ships passing by limestone islands in Halong Bay.

Southeast Asia attractions

If I was going to visit Southeast Asia I would want to go to one of their most popular tourist attractions. I would go to Angkor Archaeological Park in Cambodia because of their Temples , their are over 400 square kilometres!!! You would definitely need more than one day to see all that the temples of Angkor has to offer. I would also visit Penang , they are most known for their unique mixture of  Chinese and Indian foods. They have Spicy Curries and savoury soups and for a good price! So if you had a choice where would you go ?

Ifugao Rice Terraces are DA BOMB.COM

Hola chicos y chicas. I’m going to write about the Ifugao Rice Terraces in the Philippines. The Ifugao Rice Terraces are the priceless contribution of Philippine ancestry to the world. It was built 2000 years ago. They were passed on from generation to generation. The terraces illustrate a cultural tradition that is remarkable. The Rice Terraces of the Philippine Cordilleras were declared National Treasures. It takes a lot of teamwork from the community to make the rice terraces. They use detailed knowledge of the resources in their country. If you could make one or see how it was made would you?

I struggle with word usage.

Angkor Archaeological Park

The Angkor Archaeological Park can be found in Cambodia. It is known by many, for being a very important agricultural site. The park has several large temples, one of which is about 400 sq kilometers; however if you are having a difficult time figuring out just how wide this temple actually is, you can equate it to around 258 miles, now that's a wide temple! The temples of Angkor are also seen by many as being highly symbolic, because they possess writings that represent different things within the Asian culture.
The Hindu concept, which is also known as being temple-mountain, is where the temples were built and they stand as a representation of Mount Meru. The temples in Augkor are surrounded by moats and they were built in a mountain which looks like a pyramid shape that has five towers.
My question to you is, would you like to visit the Angkor Archaeological Park and stand at the top of one of their beautiful temples?

I often struggle while writing to keep my thoughts focused.

I would like to expand upon my ability to write in sequential order,

I struggle with following directions and would like train myself to read before I write.

Thailand

Thailand would be a Awesome place to visit. The best thing about Thailand would be the beautiful beaches. I looked up pictures and the beaches looked beautiful. There is a lot of amazing beaches and buildings there. Thailand has the 9th largest building in the world. 95% of their religion is Buddhism. Thailand is the 20th most populated countries in the world. Also Thailand is the world's largest exporter of rice. OK now back to the beaches for now. The coastline is 3219 km long. Also I bet you didn't know this, (or maybe you did) Thailand means land of the free. Have you ever been to Thailand, and if you had a choice to go would you?

Angkor Archeological Park

This place, it is big and interesting, so sit back and relax while I tell you about this magnificent place. In the Angkor Archeological Park, only one temple is still completely built, the others were worn down by time itself. This place has an amazing history which I would like to share with you. The first reason that I want to go there is that it has a jungle around it which provides a great photographic view. My next reason is the one that fascinates me. Which is: Angkor artists and scribes never told their reason of abandoning the area. I would like to show and improve my writing by stating my last reason of wanting to go there. I want to see the temple of Angkor Wat because of it’s magnificent structure and size.

The Fascinating Angkor Archaeological Park

                              Angkor Archaeological Park

The Angkor Archaeological Park is located in the country of Cambodia. This building is 400 kilometers long or 248.548 miles long. When you imagine that,(is the comma necessary) you say it is really huge for a building. The building represented the mythical Mount Meru. The temple Angkor Wat was  dedicated to the Hindu god named Lord Vishnu. The Angkor Wat was surrounded by a rectangular moat with full of water measuring 1300 meter x 1500 meters. This temple was built in the 12th century. I think you would say that is a long time ago. Well you are right because this temple was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century. Now I know so much of this temple it sounds pretty cool and would have a nice visit. Do you think you can find much cooler things to interest people?

Angkor Archaeological Park

There is a place called Angkor Archaeological Park. This place is located in Cambodia and it is awesome. It is about 400 kilometers long which is really big for a building. You don't even have to do anything except look at it to be amazed because of how massive it is. It was built to represent the mythical Mount Meru. The temple Angkor Wat is dedicated to the Hindu god, Vishnu. Angkor Wat is surrounded by a moat and an exterior wall measuring 1300 meters x 1500 meters. The temple itself is 1 km square and consists of three levels surmounted by a central tower. I struggle to imagine what this place actually looks like.. Now I think This is pretty cool. Do think you can find something cooler?Image result for Angkor Archaeological Park

Great things in Nepal.

Nepal has a lot to offer such as white water rafting, mountain climbing, and an array of national parks. Many of Nepal’s cities are lively and vibrant and attract travelers with inexpensive food and lodging, not to mention bucket-list-worthy sights. See the sights of the capital city on a Kathmandu countryside bike tour. Those of you who have Nepal on your must see list specifically to get some Himalayan hiking in while you enjoy a 4 day Kathmandu Valley trekking tour, including Bhaktapur.  To see all the highlights of the region in the most efficient way, take a 5 day Himalayas tour, including a Mt. The foremost Hindu concept is the temple-mountain, where the temple is built as a representation of mount Meru, this is why so many temples including Angkor Wat itself are surrounded by moats built in a mountain like pyramidal shape and topped by precisely five towers.
